I’m a scientist. I look at data, so my question is simple, Mr. President: If all these jobs are being saved/created by the stimulus package, why is the unemployment rate still rising?
Here’s a Gallup poll survey of American attitudes toward the President’s recovery efforts:
I don’t want you to govern based on polls, just sound economic analysis. Quickly–because things are going downhill fast. We need to believe in you. That’s how we tighten our belts and try harder. We don’t want to lose that faith:

You need think about it. Despite the emails, the overwhelming evidence showing global warming is happening hasn’t changed.
“The e-mails do nothing to undermine the very strong scientific consensus . . . that tells us the Earth is warming, that warming is largely a result of human activity,” Jane Lubchenco, who heads the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, told a House committee. She said that the e-mails don’t cover data from NOAA and NASA, whose independent climate records show dramatic warming.
I don’t see ‘overwhelming evidence’ of global warming. Especially not the past 10 years. But, we are in a warming trend in our current ice age. When that trend ends, we will cool again. It may have something to do with man, but it has a lot to do with the earth’s rotation on its axis and revolution around the sun.
